Emily Haglund, CMHC-I is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern who works with adults seeking greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, and meaningful change. She supports clients navigating anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelm, grief, life transitions, and faith transitions, as well as those exploring identity, purpose, and personal growth.

Emily helps clients understand how past experiences shape present thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while building emotional resilience, self-compassion, and greater flexibility in facing life’s challenges.

Her approach is person-centered, mindfulness-based, somatic, and depth-oriented, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. She also welcomes conversations around non-ordinary states of consciousness, including psychedelics and breathwork, in a thoughtful, integrative way.

Outside of therapy, Emily enjoys nature, live music, travel, and time with loved ones.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
